...And more on transparency
This must be the season for transparency. Dr. WIlliam Plested, president-elect of the AMA embraces transparency, but not if only for doctors, but the whole ball of wax. Laudable goal. Only problem is that our industry fees and fee structures are so complex and variable in their application, that we need more discipline of standardization in the methods by which prices are reported and actually applied. It's time to get busy putting those fantastic computational systems we have into practice.
